Transformation Tuesday. Everyone’s transformation is different, this is mine.
If I had to give myself only one peice of advice initially, it would be:
If you want to change, and I'm talking not only weight, be ready and believe in yourself and continue too everyday!
So many times I would start diets, only to give up a couple months later because I was impatient and wanted quick results, I had an all or nothing mindset, I looked for excuses to give up because I didn't want to work on my bad habits. And honestly looking back, I wasn't ready and didn't believe in myself.
My weight loss journey was successful this time because I was ready. I was flexible and stopped the all or nothing approach. I gave it time and continue to everyday. I believed in myself, and continue to everyday. I pushed myself outside my comfort zone and I slowly worked on my bad habits and continue to everyday. I did more this time instead of less and continue to everyday. Because the more you do and continue too, the more progress you will have. If you're just doing the bare minimum to lose weight, or just stop once you've reached your goal weight then you'll get what you've always got before. And I didn't want that, and I know you don't want that either.
I also know from experience and from being a nutrition coach that nobody can help you if you don't want to help yourself! You're only as successful as you want to be. If you're not ready, if you're not willing to change anything or work on changing your bad habits then you're not in the right mindset. And that matters. Believing in yourself matters! All of us are a work in progress, so be ready, be committed to changing and continue your efforts every single day and I promise you'll see results!
