NEW GOALS REQUIRE DIFFERENT HABITS

Wishing and hoping to lose weight won’t get you far if you don’t change your approach or habits to lose it. The saying, if you keep on doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep on getting what you’ve always got.


If nothing changes, nothing is going to change. Yes, change can be very scary. WHY – because change will bring with it a level of uncertainty and because of that uncertainty people develop an attitude of fear or anxiety. So, they continue to make the same unhealthy choices and bad habits.


New goals require different habits. They don’t have to be drastic or huge, they don’t have to be done all in one day. But it does require you to move outside your comfort zone and it does require you to keep going and not giving up when you have a bad day or hit a plateau.


I know sometimes lack of results can be discouraging and frustrating, but quitting doesn’t get you any closer to your goal. Keep being consistent, work hard, and you’ll see results. Find your balance every day! And don't give yourself a timeline, because this is a lifestyle, and you need to take each day at a time. Losing weight takes time and it takes effort. It also requires you to see more than just the number on the scale. That number on the scale [shouldn’t be] the MAIN or ONLY priority for changing your habits … but changing your habits might just change the numbers on the scale. 💜
