Transformation Tuesday

Transformation Tuesday. Everyone's transformation is different, this is mine.

How do I stay motivated to keep going? I get this question a lot! As a nutrition coach I often hear how others don't feel motivated to workout. Or that they're too tired to meal prep or plan their meals for the week.

Let's be honest. I'm not always motivated. Who is? Motivation is a short term solution. It's not about motivation everyday, it's also about discipline and consistency. They go hand in hand. So when you start to lose that motivation you had, that's when you need to be disciplined & consistent. Remember why you started. Remind yourself of your goals. Are those goals any closer to you than they were yesterday?

Look I get it. Being disciplined is hard. Food addiction is real. And so is being content where you are because it's easy.

If anyone understands, it's me. For years I struggled. But if you're not where your want to be or doing anything to get you any closer to your weight loss goal, that feeling of contentment you feel will kill your progress. And all the hard work you've put in. Don't give up because it's hard. That feeling of contentment is also known as false contentment. It's a self deception that makes you believe that everything is great, when actually it's not. It's a trap and a lie you're telling yourself, so you feel lazy and totally unmotivated to take action. When you hit this stage, you've gotta reignite that fire. Are you truly where you want to be? Remember why you started! And don't give up!

Because here's the thing, there's nothing special about me or my weight loss that made it easier than it would be for anyone else. I'm just like you and if I could do it and keep doing it, you can too! Be patient, be consistent, be passionate, use your will-power from time to time & keep your WHY alive!

If you need help with your nutrition, calorie intake or training program let me know. I'd love to help. Don’t let that false feeling of contentment ruin or make you think you can't script your own transformation. You can!
